Longitudinal sight glasses made of Borosilicate glass can be used at temperatures up to 243 °C or 280 °C (depending on the design) and with ACI Mica discs protected up to 320 °C. Depending on the geometry and the design (transparent or reflective glass), longitudinal sight glasses made of Borosilicate glass can be used for very high pressures.
